With 10 years of experience in the knitwear industry behind me, trying to find a place that I could do everything I love, be appreciated for my skills, continue to fuel my passion; all alongside having a good work-life balance and taking care of my mental well-being; was difficult.

Working with big fashion houses such as McQ by Alexander McQueen and DKNY made me realise how much I enjoy the technical aspects of garments. Overlooking sampling at a manufacturer helped me understand what is required when requesting samples, helping me see the exact process of garments and also how much wastage there is in the fashion industry. Freelancing for swatch studios helped me dive deeper into the creative aspect of knit. Finally, working in Education has helped me understand how to bridge the gap between the industry and future designers.

After 14 years of being on this beautiful creative journey, I finally found my passion.
